Today, we have launched the "TimeTree Calendar Chat” to all users! This new function allows you to have casual conversations with the shared calendar members.

About TimeTree Calendar Chat

With “TimeTree Calendar Chat" you can easily exchange messages with calendar members in a chat room set up for each calendar.

With "Calendar Chat", users can easily discuss future plans and schedule adjustments in one place without a hassle, instead of going back and forth between group chats and the calendar.

Changes to current functions

• Member list: from the upper right corner to the lower right corner Calendar members and visiting logs can be checked from the bottom right corner of the other "..." button. Calendar settings can also be accessed from this screen from the upper right corner.

• Recent changes and updates: in the calendar chat Calendar updates such as event creation and deleting history are displayed in Calendar Chat.

Future updates will include the ability to post images to the chat and react to messages with emojis to further improve communication.

I share calendars with my partner. My schedule is not decided by only me. So why not have a calendar that incorporates sharing and communication? That's why we created TimeTree.

While being used by so many, which we are grateful for, we can hear many users' voices as well and it made us re-think. Is TimeTree really a service that enables natural communication between us? Our daily schedule is decided together, by checking and confirming with someone close to us. “I found an event like this,” “I’d like to go here”, “I have no plans this weekend”. After rethinking the structure of a calendar that could provide an environment like this, we decided to release a new function called "TimeTree Calendar Chat". We hope that this new feature will help many users to make their daily lives even more smoother and enjoyable.
