New release: Link photos and events

We are excited to announce the release of a new feature that lets you link photos posted to Albums with the corresponding events 🎉

Now you can organize your events together with your memory photos!

✅ Recommended use

• Linking family trip events and photos together for easy management

• Keeping birthday party events together with celebration photos

• Save the team's game schedule with pictures from the game

📷 How to link events and photos

1. Tap the image icon at the top left corner

2. From the “Calendar List,” select your shared calendar

3. Tap the “Album” tab under the monthly calendar

4. iOS: Tap the top-right icon (three squares and a pen) / Android: Tap the top-right three dots icon

5. Select “Link to event”

6. Choose the photos, then tap “Link selected photos to event”

7. If event suggestions appear: tap “Select” on the event, or if no suggestions appear: tap “Choose from calendar” and then “Select” the event

Important

• Only events with the same date as the date when the photo was taken will appear as link suggestions

• Linking photos is not currently available on the Web version

• iOS app version 14.7.0 or newer (OS version 17.0 or newer)

• Android app version 14.21.0 or newer (OS version 10.0 or newer)
