Resolved: Advertisement plays audio on silent mode

An issue affecting advertisement audio occurred in some Android and iOS apps. We have identified the cause and released an updated app version that resolves the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Details

  • Issue period: Approximately summer 2025 through late May 2026

  • Affected users: Some TimeTree Android and iOS app users viewing certain video advertisements

  • Issue: Advertisement audio on the Daily screen could play automatically even when the device was set to silent mode

  • Resolution: Please update to the latest version of the app.
