Marie, sharing calendars with boyfriend to plan out daily life
I specifically use TimeTree with my boyfriend to plan our day, we don’t have the same working schedule or school schedule but we still want to make sure that we have time to each other. I use TimeTree to plan our weeks so that way we always know when we can go out or when the other one is busy!

I specifically use TimeTree, because I work in the Travel industry so I am often abroad working and my boyfriend works shift patterns. This allows us to enter all social events, work dates, birthdays, annual leave, and special occasions. We both have specific colors to keep a track of what we are doing and use the app to share our availability with friends.

Our calendar mainly has plans for both of us. Going shopping at IKEA or a date to see a movie. Both of us also enter our individual plans for the days off. We can then easily see whether our plans match or not. Previously, most of your days off were hit-or-miss. However, since you can now see at a glance your family's schedule, it makes it easier to make plans in advance.
We have less arguments because we don't mix up our plans anymore.
We’re living in the wonderful city of Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, Germany. I am studying at the local university and have a part-time job. My boyfriend, Daniel is doing shift work and I never knew if he would have time or be at work when I was planning something for us. At the same time, he never knew when I had to go to my part-time job or when I already had plans with my friends, or when I had to do homework. So we always ended up making plans we could not fulfill.
The schedule for the weekend is full!
As you create events or memos on TimeTree, we keep a list of the "things you'd like to do", for which you have yet to decide on a time and date, such as "restaurants with nice atmosphere", "movies you are interested in", and "places you'd like to go".
